Information we collect
We may collect identification and contact details, the capacity in which the requester is acting, the organisation, the city, information about the matter, the parties and the relevant dates, and any documents the user chooses to upload. Applications to join the firm collect details of the professional track, qualifications and experience, and the CV where one is attached.
Purposes of processing
We use the information to understand the request, conduct a conflict of interest check, communicate with the requester, define the scope of the service, manage the appointment or the application to join, protect the website, prevent duplicate submissions and improve our working procedures.
Legal requests and appointments
The time proposed in the form is an initial preference only. Submitting a request does not create a lawyer-client relationship and does not mean that the engagement has been accepted. Please do not send highly sensitive information before acceptance of the work has been confirmed.
File uploads
Files are uploaded on an optional basis to private storage and are made available within the system to authorised users through temporary links. File type and size limits apply, and we may delete a file that does not meet security requirements or is not linked to a valid request.
Storage and retention
We retain information for as long as is necessary to review the request or to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, and for any periods required by professional or statutory obligations where applicable; we then delete or de-identify it in accordance with the retention policy.
Security
We use access controls, private storage, activity logs, encrypted connections and procedures that limit unauthorised access. No technical means can prevent every risk, so information that the initial review does not require should not be sent.
User rights
Users may request access to their data, its correction or its deletion, or object to its processing, where the law and the nature of the professional obligation permit. We may need to verify the identity of the person making the request before acting on it.
Third-party services
Some functions may rely on hosting, database, storage and mapping services. Data is shared only to the extent necessary to provide the function and subject to appropriate safeguards.
